Syslog

Sends a customised or default text template to a log destination on new/updated events.

Fields

• Target host (required)

• Target port (required)

• Protocol (required)

• Custom headers

Steps (for papertrail):

1. Login/signup to papertrail app

2. Navigate to Settings > log destinations

3. Create a new log destination or use an existing one

4. Get the host, port & protocol from the log destination.

   1. red = host

   2. blue = port

   3. green = available protocols

5. Any events sent to this alert will show in the events tab.
